 | I Love Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's songs! My Pakistani colleagues introduced me to his songs years ago in the UAE and I was instantly hooked into his songs (I don't understand urdu nor Hindi). Listening to it after so many years from Canada brings back the memories and it's all gonna be the master in the next few years.  | I totally understand the kind of feeling this song evokes for you guys, even though you don't understand the lyrics. This music and song are so magical, it is one of my all-time favorite songs to listen even though I too don't understand all of the lyrics they are singing because I am also not Indian. And I think this lyric is a very poetic pure form of Urdu, but since I have been watching Bollywood movies and listening to Hindi music since I was a kid, I can now understand Hindi well without depending on English subtitles that much. And Urdu and Hindi have a lot of similar words. But if it is like an Indian dialect from Punjab or Bengali then I definitely do not understand most of the words, but I can somehow comprehend and try to guess the overall meaning of what the person is trying to say, if you know what I mean.
