 | Somebody probably already said it, but the reason why all of a sudden your power panel shows voltage after the charger was hooked up is, that you're back feeding into the panel and possibly into the solar charger from the shore power charger.  | On my solar system the charge controller needs volts from the battery to run. If the your system goes low on volts the charge controller will shut down and the power from the panels will not turn it back on.  | First, I'm not a marine engineer, I'm just a retired Master Mechanic and Contractor. Would you be able to place a timber over the keel bolts, top it with a hydraulic jack, place a 4x4 or 6x6 timber atop that and have it wedged against several sheets of plywood on the cabin roof, then jack it up to lift the hull (raising the hardstands as you go) so as to raise the frames where they meet the keel. This would allow you to pump those hollow frames full of epoxy, close the gaps caused by the keel rising up into the hull, and allow you to install the SS strapping while still on the hard. Seems like something you might want to do even if you opt to do these repairs in the water, just be a bit less jacking with the keel hanging free...Also see you're rocking the 'Zoolander' look Joel, less scruffy, but also less 'Piratey'...  | Unprotected epoxy is easily damaged by long term UV radiation. Next time, paint it with acrylic outdoor house paint before you leave it. Then sand it off when you get back .
